Maxhosa is premium South African knitwear brand that uniquely combines traditional South African Xhosa aesthetics with European sensibilities. The brand is most identified by its use of a distinct African pattern and vibrant colours. It's presentations at fashion events in London, Paris, New York and Milan have received praises over the past few years and is increasingly appealing to an international audience.
As a personal creative project, I modernised their current identity by refining their mark and creating a distinct visual language across print and digital applications, making the brand more contemporary and appealing
